This portfolio - the one you're looking at right now - was built using a combination of AI-assisted development workflows and manual engineering. AI generated initial structures, component skeletons, and copy drafts faster than traditional development would allow. But the architecture, the parallax system, the SEO layer, the debugging, the design decisions, and every line that actually ships - those came from deliberate human choices.
The challenge was maintaining quality control and coherence when working with AI-generated code. AI output requires constant review - it can introduce subtle bugs, inconsistent patterns, or solutions that work but don't scale. The developer's job shifts from writing every line to making architectural judgments and quality calls on generated output.
The architecture was designed manually before any code was written. AI was used for specific tasks: generating component variations, writing content drafts, suggesting animation patterns. Each piece was reviewed, modified, and integrated deliberately. The multi-layer parallax system, the responsive animation logic, and the SEO implementation were all built and refined manually.
The visual design uses a dark OKLCH-based color system with a teal accent palette, multi-layer parallax backgrounds, 3D perspective transforms, and subtle glassmorphism. Every aesthetic decision was made deliberately - AI suggested options, humans decided.
AI-assisted development is real, and it genuinely changes the speed of work. But it also requires a higher level of judgment - you have to know what good looks like to recognize when AI output falls short. This project proved that AI and developer skill are complementary, not competing. The more you know, the better you can direct AI tools.
